TRLA’s Laredo office honored local private attorney Ron Rodriguez for his generosity and commitment to legal aid services at a special Justice for All luncheon in late April. Rodriguez had recently donated several thousands of dollars worth of furniture and supplies to the Laredo office.
A former president of the Laredo-Webb County Bar Association, Rodriguez has constantly shown a strong commitment to the cause of providing access to justice for all Texans – particularly low-income residents.
“Ron’s support and generosity have been critical to ensuring we can provide excellent services to low-income residents in Laredo,” said TRLA branch manager and attorney Israel Reyna. “His commitment to finding justice for all Texans is strong and unwavering.”
Rodriguez was honored for his involvement alongside his wife and children. TRLA’s recognition was the latest of several recognitions Rodriguez has received in recent months. He was also recently nominated for the 2010 Trial Lawyer of the Year Award from the National Public Justice Foundation.
Added Reyna, “Without the support of attorneys like Ron, the struggle to provide justice for all would be much harder.”
