Ramos Receives National Recognition for Work with Farmworkers

Last week TRLA paralegal Roman Ramos was awarded the prestigious Shelley Davis Memorial Award from Farmworker Justice for his commitment to fighting for the legal rights of farmworkers.

Ramos has been a paralegal in TRLA’s Laredo office for more than thirty years. He began his life has a farmworker and has spent his time with TRLA becoming a nationally recognized paralegal professional who works with migrant workers to assert their rights through the legal system.

Roman was joined at the awards ceremony by TRLA’s Rudy Sanchez, head of our farmworker division, and Bill Beardall, current Executive Director of the Equal Justice Center.
