TRLA attorney Pablo Almaguer has been honored by the State Bar of Texas with the Judge Sam Williams Award. The award was presented at yesterday’s Bar Leadership Recognition Luncheon, part of the State Bar’s Annual Meeting.
The State Bar of Texas Local Bar Services Committee presents the award every year to recognize an individual who has demonstrated a commitment to fostering the relationship between his/her local bar association and the State Bar. In doing so, the honoree is also recognized for his/her dedication to improving the community, promotion of pro bono work, contributions to helping the public understand the legal system, and impact on students.
Almaguer serves as TRLA’s Private Attorney Involvement Group Coordinator where he develops and promotes TRLA’s pro bono programs. He has worked with TRLA since 1998 and is a former branch manager of our Edinburg office.
